Kalush Orchestra

Kalush Orchestra is a Ukrainian hip hop band that combines modern sounds with Ukrainian folk elements and authentic music. The band is named after the city Kalush, located near the Carpathian Mountains in Ukraine.


In 2022 Kalush Orchestra won the Eurovision Song Contest. They demonstrated energy, charisma and costumes with traditional Ukrainian details. Their Eurovision entry, “Stefania” is a tribute to Oleh’s mother. Kalush’s victory at Eurovision 2022 celebrates Ukrainian music and culture to the whole world. Reinforcing the richness, strength and spirit of Ukraine and Ukrainians. Ukraine received a total of 631 points, 439 from public votes (record breaking public score). With this Europe demonstrated a unity of all nations supporting freedom for Ukraine.
