As an artist I am always searching for ways to be more earth friendly, everything we create has a life cycle. I am trying to find the balance between creativity and sustainability since online shopping is no stranger to unsustainable earth practices.

I want to ensure that your purchase arrives with a low impact and minimal waste, so here’s what to know about my earth friendly practices for your online order.

Packaging and shipping materials:

Kraft Mailer – Curbside recyclable & biodegradable, made from 100% recycled content (90% post-consumer waste).

Water Activated Tape – Curbside recyclable & biodegradable, made from 50% recycled content.

Glassine Paper Wrap – Curbside recyclable & biodegradable.
*Glassine is a glossy paper that is air, water & grease resistant. It isn’t fully waterproof but your art purchase will still be protected against the elements during shipping.

Paper Bag – Curbside recyclable and biodegradable.

Hemp cord – Can be placed in your green bin.
*Eco-friendly natural fibre.

Gift tag – Curbside recyclable.
*Just flip the gift tag over and re-use it with the Hemp Cord, paper or Glassine bag for the ultimate earth-friendly gift-wrapping.

Postcards – Curbside recyclable, printed on 100% recycled cardstock (100% post-consumer waste).

Eco card – Curbside recyclable, printed on 100% recycled cardstock (100% post-consumer waste).
*All orders come with info on how to recycle or re-use your packaging.

Cardboard – Curbside Recyclable.
*All cardboard and mailers that come to my house is re-used if possible, so your order might just come with re-used packaging.

Chipboard Pad – Curbside Recyclable, made from recycled paper.

Shipping Label – Curbside recyclable.
*Liner – 100% recycled & curbside recyclable.

 Stamps – Opting for stamps when possible.
*Most sticker backing paper cannot be recycled.
